The Kabin Crew is a collective of young rappers and singing based out of Cork City's northside, pushing the boundaries of what hip hop is all about. The group work on songwriting and recording projects with GMCBeats Workshops at the Kabin Studio, supported by Music Generation Cork City.
Their incredible talent and energy was enough to get the kids parts in The Young Offenders (BBC) and the short film Christy whose Director, Brendan Canty (Feel Good Lost), also directed this official music video.
Although 'Ya Boy' is The Kabin Crew's debut single and first official music video, they have already made waves through national performances at the Ombudsman for Children's Office Child Talks 2019, Ireland Music Week, UCC and Turners Cross Stadium. One of the Crew, MC Tiny, even performed some of the track on the 2019 Late Late Toy Show.
This epic Cork City anthem is performed by MC Tiny, MC The King, MC Michael and features the rest of the Kabin Crew on the chorus. Its release has been helped by a host of global talent who jumped at the chance to work with the group.
