The Ballyphehane Trad Orchestra, a new exciting project presented by Club Ceoil, Ballyphehane in partnership with Music Generation, Cork City kicks off on Saturday Jan 18th with their Lá Taispeantas (Showcase/Audition) day.
The Ballyphehane Trad Orchestra will be an opportunity for young musicians between the ages of 8 and 18, who have had at least one year of music lessons to receive excellent tuition and guidance from the skilled tutors, and to gain experience of playing and performing with other young musicians. The showcase / audition is taking place from 10am – 1.30pm in Gaelscoil an Teaghlaigh Naofa, Ballyphehane.
Trad Orchestra rehearsals will take place on Saturdays and Tuesday evenings at Gaelscoil an Teaghlaigh Naofa, Ballyphehane.
Music Generation Cork City are delighted to be supporting the ongoing expansion of trad music opportunities available to young people throughout the city.
