Pipe Up Roadshow with Na Piobairi Uilleann

Louth pipe up
If you are interested in promoting music in your school , don’t miss the chance to book a visit by our Pipe Up Roadshow running on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 September. Pipe Up is being organized by Music Generation Louth in association with Na Piobairi Uilleann to generate interest in learning the uilleann pipes amongst children and young people in the county.

Here is what Music Generation Louth has to say about this event:
"Top Class Piper from Na Piobairi Uilleann Emmett Gil is available to tour schools and classrooms on 9 and 10 Sept to demonstrate the instrument, talk a little about its history and give students the chance to have a go. Sessions are aimed at 4th class upwards. Emmett will also be able to provide details on the classes that are available through Music Generation Louth at our centres in Dundalk and Drogheda. Please note that slots are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. To book, simply send an email to Coordinator Gemma Murray at gmurray@lmetb.ie expressing your interest and providing your contact details so that we can get back to you to make arrangements. I hope that as many of you as possible will take up this wonderful opportunity."
