South Dublin County Council, as Lead Partner for South Dublin Music Education Partnership, is currently seeking individuals or companies to deliver Area Programme Management Services for Music Generation South Dublin. This contract will help with the delivery of strategic aims for performance music education in two hubs in South Dublin County.
Music Generation South Dublin is a music education service for children and young people that provides a range of opportunities throughout the county for children and young people to learn music.
It is among 12 areas of the country currently participating in Music Generation – Ireland’s National Music Education Programme, initiated by Music Network, co-funded by U2, The Ireland Funds, the Department of Education and Skills and Local Music Education Partnerships.
Established in 2014, Music Generation South Dublin currently provides a range of performance music education programmes to over 2,000 children and young people in the South Dublin County area.
The successful candidate or company for the contract of Area Programme Management Services should have a breath of experience and understanding of working with children and young people across a wide age range as well as demonstrating management, organisational and communication skills.
They will be a qualified, experienced individual or company who will help the Music Development Officer drive the artistic and developmental vision of the music service and ensure that it is focused on delivering high quality experiences for children and young people.
