Music Generation South Dublin will mark the festive season in style with a very special performance by the 30 strong ukelele ensemble orchestra from 6th class in St. Finians, Newcastle, on Wednesday 17th December at 11.15am in St. Finian's Church, Newcastle. The ensemble, who have been participating in the Ready Steady Play programme with tutor Andrew Robinson, will be performing some festive favourities as part of the school's carol service. Definitely one not to be missed!
Fresh from the success of their performance on Tuesday 9th December, the students of Firhouse Community College will perform a second concert on Thursday 18th December next, at 3pm in the College. Singers, pianists and guitarists have worked with tutors Sarah Busfield, Charles Marshall and Stephen Fagan since September on the programme, which will includes a selection of Christmas songs.
