A Trad Rock Summer Camp at Scoil Chríost Rí, Cloughleigh, Ennis for pupils of 2nd to 6th class takes place between August 11th and 15th.
Tutors including Danny Byrt, John Lillis, Lourdes O’Donoghue, Tim Collins, Frank Custy and Graham Keane will teach a variety of classes including Rapping and Recording; DJ Mixing; Electric and Bass Guitar, Percussion, Drumming and Hip Hop Dancing as well as traditional music classes for fiddle, tin whistle, concertina, banjo, flute, mandolin and accordion. An end of camp performance will take place on Friday, August 15th. Artistic director of the camp is Karen Vaughan, and it is being run in association with Clare Local Development Company and Music Generation Clare.
