Music Generation Carlow is now calling for Traditional Irish musicians to apply for the Kildare Carlow Education and Training Board tutor pool. These musicians, if successful, may be asked to teach and guide young people up to the age of 18 years in learning a chosen traditional instrument as part of the Music Generation Carlow programme.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following:
- A vast knowledge of their chosen traditional instrument,
- Teaching experience relevant to their instrument,
- Their performing experience or musical qualifications (the latter is not a necessity).
Closing date for receipt of completed application form for the above post (hard copy only) is Friday 11 October 2013 at 5pm.
