Music Generation Carlow is delighted to announce a new artistic partnership with Kaleidoscope Night. This partnership will develop links between professional musicians and young people in County Carlow through mentorship and performance programmes over the next number of years.
Music Generation Carlow is excited to have Kaleidoscope Night ensemble in residence the Robinson Panoramic Quartet working with a number of young musicians in the county over the next year. These young musicians will develop their chamber music skills and will perform in a Junior Kaleidoscope Night in May 2015 in Carlow. This event will showcase new music composed by MGC’s Young Composers who are mentored by Linda Buckley.
“We want to give the young people of County Carlow an understanding of the broad approach to music making that a professional musician needs to embrace, we want our young musicians and composers to be challenged and to think beyond their experience of learning music up to now.
